Homeopathic Medicines for colds and flus

If you could have a wish never to experience the flu again or not to suffer from a migraine headache, you would most likely go for it. However, wishing cannot make it so; but a little preventative medicine can go a long way.
Preventing illness is much more desirable than taking prescription medicines, not to mention time out from work and just feeling lousy.
Homeopathy is the natural treatment of illness focusing on the mind, the body, and the spirit. Homeopathy does not focus on any one of these, but all three as parts of the whole. Homeopathy is said to invigorate the natural body system as an agent to assist in the healing method.  Homeopathy is the 2nd most common type of medicine practice worldwide.
There are several homeopathic medicines to aid you before you get sick and then during an illness.
The Stomach flu
No one likes getting the stomach flu. Even the mere thought can send you running to the bathroom. However, there are a few tried and true homeopathic remedies that can assist in trying to prevent the stomach flu, as well as make you feel better if you do catch the nasty bug.
Of course, the first thing to do in prevention is to constantly and thoroughly wash your hands, especially in the wintertime when the flu is more apparent.
Gelsemium is one of the best ways to prevent and heal stomach flus.  Gelsemium is the default homeopathic remedy for a flu when the patient is feeling drowsy, dizzy, diarrhea  and with absolutely no energy. 
Oscillococcinum is also an easy go to remedy for colds and flus.  It reduces the duration of flulike symptoms such as body aches, headaches, fever and chills.  It does not cause drowsiness so it suitable for day and night use.  It come packaged in a pre-measured, easy to swallow and easy to administer doses.  It can be used by infants, children and adults. 
Of course, don’t forget the regular recommendations to cover your mouths and noses and wash hands frequently.  It is also important to remember to keep hydrated.  It is better to add some lemon or lime juice to your water too because it helps the body keep alakaline in order to boost up your immune system further.
